essential
Area Adviser and specialist back-up to 15,000 service-users
throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, quite a sizeable amount
is required - ?1,600,000. Over 80% of ASBAH's expenditure goes on direct service provision. Only a tiny portion of our costs is covered by grants or fees from the statutory services who, indeed, are looking to the voluntary sector to do more and more of their work for them without providing a corresponding increase in resources. We cannot possibly hope to sustain our unique and valuable work without the need for business people, charitable trustees or individuals to support us by way of donations (or the purchase of our trading products), grants or future bequests. Many companies already help us to deliver successful services by responding to our requests to buy advertising space. This trading operation dedicates its profits exclusively to ASBAH, and it has underpinned our work for well over a decade. Thank you again for supporting us. |
